We Support the MS Society of Canada
Canada has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world, with an estimated 1 in 340 Canadians living with the disease. While it is most often diagnosed in young adults aged 15 to 40, younger children and older adults are also vulnerable. MS is classified as an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord).
The MS Society offers a variety of programs and services to help people affected by multiple sclerosis effectively manage and cope with the disease. Through its various funding opportunities, the MS Society also supports research that will lead to major advances in understanding the causes of and potential treatments for multiple sclerosis (MS).
